Phuentsholing – Thimphu (Distance: 176 kms. / Driving Time: 6 hrs. / Altitude of Thimphu: 2350 mts.) After breakfast complete the immigration formalities and transfer to Thimphu (7,710 ft.) the capital city of Bhutan. On arrival check in at the hotel. Thimphu Sightseeing After breakfast visit KuenselPhodrang (Buddha Statue) a place for refreshing with a huge statue of Buddha on the top of the KuenselPhodrang, National Memorial Chorten (Monument) & Folk Heritage Museum. Afternoon visit Sangaygang View Point, Changangkha Monastery, TashichhoDzong (Fortress of the Glorious Religion. Taking Preserve Centre, The talking national animal of Bhutan can be seen here. Thimphu – Punakha/Wangdue Sightseeing (Distance: 77 kms. / Driving Time: 3 hrs. / Altitude of Punakha: 1310 mts.) After breakfast drive to Punakha / Wangdue, On the way Stop at Dochu-La-Pass (3150 mts.). to view the higher Himalayas. Arrival at Punakha check in at hotel. After noon visit PunakhaDzong - built in 1637 by ZhabdrungNgawangNamgyal. The Dzong was named DrukPungthangDechenPhodrang (Palace of Great Happiness). ". Evening free for leisure. Punakha/Wangdue – Paro - (Distance: 140 kms. / Driving Time: 5 hrs. / Altitude of Paro: 2280 mts.) After breakfast drive to Paro (7,483 ft.). On the way stop at Lamperi to visit Royal Botanical Park . On arrival check in at the hotel. Afternoon we will visit Drukgyel Dzong & oldest monestry Kyichu Lhakhang. This was one of the wonderful, amazing experience right from the start till end. One normally recollects the faults in over all set up starting from planning, preparation, prior intimation, actual execution, timings, hotel arrangement, no. of places promised and actually shown and lastly the meals. But during the entire aforesaid period, not a single occasion has surfaced where in we had any opportunity to single out any failure of any sort.This was a dream experience which ended in just 14 days. The most important of all is that, there is no hidden cost in the tour. We never had to spend a single cent from our pocket except for the personal purchases.
